Their vision and mission to make international standard skin care and hair treatments accessible for everyone in Chennai is the inspiration and the driving force behind MetaDerm. Dr. P.C. Vijayakumar

D.A., DNB., MNAMS.

Dr. P.C. Vijayakumar -Chief Anaesthesiologist, and a Critical Care Physician with over 20 years of experience , is  a well-experienced consultant for clinical nutrition, pain, and palliative care. Dr. P.C. Vijayakumar is the President of IAPN (Indian Association of Parenteral Nutrition) and the director of Academics.

Dr. P.C. Vijayakumar’s expertise in providing  painless anaesthesia and sedation  for procedures like hair transplantation , intensive critical care in handling  dermatological emergencies  and his immense wealth of knowledge in clinical nutrition that helps patients with various dermatological conditions ,enables MetaDerm to offer comprehensive healthcare that is both comfortable and effective from within and not just at the surface level.

Dr. P. Santoshkumar Periyasamy

M.D, D.M. Cardiology

Dr. P. Santoshkumar Periyasamy is an Interventional Cardiologist by profession and a healthcare administrator by passion. He has completed his Health Care Economics course from the University of Pennsylvania (Wharton). He is also a Healthcare Management Graduate from the Harvard Business School. He is a member of FACHE (Fellow of American College of Healthcare Executives) He combines his medical proficiency, knowledge in healthcare administration, and finance with his astute business acumen to ensure MetaDerm is a cut above other dermatology clinics in Chennai.

Dr. V.Vilashini Santoshkumar

M.B.B.S., MD(DVL),, FAAD.

Dr. V. Vilashini, is an accomplished consultant interventional  Dermatologist with over 8 years of experience. She leads clinical affairs with a patient-centric approach and a strong focus on protocol creation. She is known for her expertise in managing and treating acne, acne scars, and hair loss. She is highly experienced in diagnosing numerous skin problems, including dermatophytosis, nevi , psoriasis, eczema, alopecia, and warts. She is a very passionate dermatologist, proficient in laser therapy, chemical peels, and various other treatments to help patients look their best selves. 

Dr. Vilashini  is also a gold medalist in her post-graduation – Dermatology Venereology Leprosy, graduated from PSG IMSR Coimbatore, and completed her residential internship at SRMC Chennai.

Dr. R. Shoba Vijayakumar

Dr. R. Shoba  – our consultant cosmetic  gynecologist is a specialist in hormonal treatment of PCOS and advanced surgical cosmetic gynaecology, Gynaec Cosmetic Lasers, Functional Gynaecology. She has extensive Surgical training in Labioplasty, , vaginoplasty, hymenoplasty, labia majora reduction, and augmentation by autologous fat. 

Dr. Shoba  has over 26 years of clinical experience in obstetrics and gynaecology, HIV, and family medicine. She is a skilled surgeon whose prime focus is patient comfort and safety. Her expertise and experience in handling delicate matters like vaginal rejuvenation enable her to precisely understand patient expectations and deliver the same using the latest techniques and technology.
